Description
Baalzephon is a location mentioned in Exodus 14:2, where the Israelites camped before crossing the Red Sea. It was a place near the sea, opposite Migdol, and associated with the worship of the god Baal.

Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.
