Why is life so complicated?

Answer Prayers

The Complications of Life

You may feel that life is so complicated and wonder why things are not simple. This is all because of sin (Romans 6:23). But the good news is that God has a clear plan for your life that will bring you peace and order (Jeremiahs 29:11). The Lord loves you so much. He gave His Only Son to save you (John 3:16) and He is eager to reveal His goodness for you (Isaiah 30:18).

Therefore, lay your problems at Jesus’ feet for He promised, “Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). And trust that He will bless and comfort you. Paul affirmed, “If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-34).

If you are confused, call on the Lord and He will give you wisdom (James 1:5). The Lord will shed His light on your path and you will know what to do. The Psalmist declared, “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1).

When you are struggling with complexities, the Lord will not let you be tempted above you can bear. “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Your heavenly Father will bless you with His presence when life seems so complex. For He promised,“Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.’ So, you can say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5-6).

All you need to do is abide in Him daily through the study of His word and prayer (John 15:4). Like the branch that is connected to the tree trunk to receive nourishment, you need to connect yourself to Christ to receive wisdom, support and strength so that you can say, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). Once you abide in Him, life will be no longer complicated but simple, ordered and clear.
