You may feel utterly hopeless that suicide seems like rest. But this is the devil’s lie. Life is a precious gift from God. And it is a sin to take it away. Your life belongs to God because He created you and He redeemed you. Jesus loved you enough to die for you and save you. He is waiting with open arms to love you, bless you and comfort you. So, you owe it to yourself to get to know Him before you give up.
Jesus suffered and died so you don’t have to. In Isaiah 53 we read, “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows… But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
Friend, Jesus Christ endured all this so that you will live forever in perfect happiness. Whatever weight of pain or guilt you carry, know that He will forgive and comfort you if you accept Him as your Savior “…Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you…” (Psalm 50:15).
Suicide is not the answer. You have tried everything else why not try the Lord now and give Him a chance to bless your life. God has good plans for you of peace and good future (Jeremiah 29:11). He will show you the path you need to take “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you” (Psalm 32:8). You will never walk alone.
Jesus is ready to heal your broken life and fulfill your dreams “The LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor…to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve…to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair” (Isaiah 61:1-3).
God will give you more than you ever hoped for “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us” (Ephesians 3:20). So, trust Him that He may make a difference in your life.
Friend, invite the Lord into your heart and pray this prayer: My Heavenly Father, come in my heart, be my Lord. I put my trust in You. Forgive me, cleanse me, and restore my joy in life. Thank You for Your love In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Be sure that the Lord will answer your prayer. And your life will never be the same again. Suicide is not the answer. God is.
In His service,
