The White Poison!

I watched a health video that really surprised me. The average American consumes an astounding two to three pounds of sugar each week. This is because refined sugars are found in processed foods that we don’t suspect such as bread, breakfast cereal, mayonnaise, peanut butter, ketchup, spaghetti sauce and almost everything else.

Just one cola contains ten teaspoons or 20 sugar cubes. And two cans of soda can wipe up 92 % of ones immunity.

Refined sugar provides that which nutritionists describe as “empty” or “naked” calories. It lacks the natural minerals which are present in the sugar beet or cane.

Sugar is worse than nothing because it drains and leaches the body of precious vitamins and minerals through the demand its digestion, detoxification and elimination makes upon one’s body.

When taken every day, it produces an over acid condition which promotes disease. And more minerals are required from the body in the attempt to correct the imbalance. So, in order to protect the blood, so much calcium is taken from the bones and teeth which leads to decay.

Initially, sugar is stored in the liver in the form of glucose. When the liver is filled to its maximum capacity, the excess glycogen is returned to the blood in the form of fatty acids and stored in the most inactive areas. The body changes sugar into 2 to 5 times more fat in the bloodstream than it does starch.

That’s why over 60 ailments have been linked to the white poison consumption, including obesity, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, asthma, and allergies.

So, when you feel like having a sweet thing, treat yourself with natural sweetness (fruits) instead of the white poison.
