Prison Break

When God put a promise in our heart, He will also give us some kind of sign to boost our faith that it will happen. Remember, God’s answers to our prayers can be summarized in three points:

Son, it is not yet the time
Son, I have a better plan for you.
Son, here it is.

God always confirms a promise by showing you a sign. The sign can be through a dream, a friend, or anything else that might look like it occurred just random, just by coincidence.

Sara-prison-break-30596543-2560-1707Have you ever felt as if you really wanted something to the point that you just narrowed your eyes on your goal without looking at what is going on around you?
Doesn’t it sound as if you are imprisoning yourself in a gigantic prison that you build by yourself. You certainly think that you are in control, while actually you are not. On the contrary, you are missing opportunities. That’s when you decide to depend on yourself instead of asking God for a sign.

Hezekiah asked for a sign from God to boost his faith that his life will be extended! The same occurred with Noah, Same with Paul, Same even for John the Baptist when he baptized Jesus-Christ.

We tend to jump to the assumptions that because we did not get what we want, when we want it, it means that God is absent.

Actually, at the same very moment, God is saying “WAKE UP, LOOK HERE, I HAVE SOMETHING AMAZING FOR YOU.”

It takes a lot of nerve to ask for a sign and not fall down. We tend to start feeling lonely, depressed and we forget that we are the child of the most high God. It requires faith to ask like David, “God give me a sign”.

There is no time to feel depressed and start drinking, smoking and ruining your lifestyle, there is no place for that. That will lead to a crescendo effect.

Remember Psalm 130:37

Then he brought out Israel with silver and gold, and there was none among his tribes who stumbled.

Nothing can stop you! If God did something for you once, He can do it again and again!

I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

The train is passing by and now is the time to jump and take your seat. People will hate you for that and some will respect you for that; however, not to be deceived:

1- READ the Word
2- STUDY the Word
3- BELIEVE the Word
4- OBEY the Word
5- SHARE the Word
6- CHERISH the Word

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2

Doesn’t it speak volume?
