Men and Dinosaurs Co-Exited
Dinosaurs are often portrayed as having lived in a time before man. However, the available evidence shows that man and dinosaur coexisted:
1-Legends of dragons are found among most cultures. For example, there are the stories of Bel and the dragon, the Kulta of Australian aborigines, St. George and the dragon, and of course in the many Chinese legends.
2-Eye witness accounts by many people of creatures that are exactly like dinosaurs in appearance. The descriptions include not only sightings, but people actually hunting and killing them. These stories have been documented all over the world in many different cultures.
These stories exist in the writings of several well-known ancient people, and have been documented by scientists as recently as a few years ago. Some of the best information along these lines come from evolutionists in their book titled “A Living Dinosaur?”
3- Artwork and various ancient artifacts depicting live dinosaurs by themselves, or interacting with humans. These include burial stones, burial cloths, clay figurines, cave drawings, etc.
4- Fossilized footprints of humans and dinosaurs together. While some of these particular discoveries may be questionable, others appear to be far more reliable.
5- A (2005) discovery of a blood report from a t-rex with intact hemoglobin. We know that emoglobin breaks down rapidly and could not have lasted 65 millions of years in the bones of a t-rex. “Dinosaur bones have yielded the protein osteocalcin. Since long chains such as proteins naturally fall apart, such a discovery supports a ‘recent’ age for these fossils. (New Scientist, October 31, 1992, p.18).
This information and discoveries present a major problem for evolutionists to explain using their world view of origins – that dinosaurs existed before man.
The Bible states that “every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind” was created by God on Day Six of the creation week (Genesis 1:25)—including dinosaurs. On this same day, the first man and woman were also created (Genesis 1:26-27). Dinosaur kinds did not go extinct until after the Flood, which occurred only thousands of years ago.
