Isn’t the life of Jesus just a made up story?

Is the Life of Jesus a Made Up Story?

Some claim that the life of Jesus is a made up story to control the masses. But to help dispel all doubt, God gave us enough evidence to prove that Jesus is His Son and that His life and death for the salvation of mankind is true. Let’s examine the evidences:

A-Messianic prophecies

There are more than 125 prophecies about the Messiah. Let’s review just 12 of them:

Dr. Peter Stoner, former chairman of the departments of mathematics, astronomy, and engineering at Pasadena College (California), conducted research for several years applying the “principle of probability” to the prophecies of the Jesus’ coming. He used just eight prophecies and showed that the chances of all eight being fulfilled in one man in a lifetime is one in 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000. What would the odds be on the more than 125 prophecies of the Messiah? It could have only been Him!

B-His Supernatural works and miracles

The life of Jesus was full of mighty works. For He healed all sickness (Luke 5:15-26), fed thousands of people (Luke 9:12-17), cast out demons (Luke 4:33-37), raised the dead (Luke 7:11-16), and had authority over nature (Luke 8:22-25). He said, “‘Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father’” (John 10:24-38).

C-His Resurrection

Both the Romans and Jews testified to Jesus’ resurrection from the death, a fact that can’t be disputed (1 Corinthians 15:6; Romans 6:9; Luke 24:39…etc.). Unlike all the other founders of the religions in the world that have died, Jesus is alive.

The life of Jesus was more than a story. It was a real factual fact that touched the lives of billions of people with love, peace and hope.
