Is ‘Paranormal Activity’ for Real?

So now there’s a “Paranormal Activity 4”, while I didn’t even know there’s a 1, 2, or 3. But with the trailers flooding our TV, and with Halloween around the corner, it’s natural to wonder about our dead loved ones or any dead for that matter. Are they sleeping, waiting for the resurrection, or are they alive somewhere? If so, what are they doing? What about the apparitions people see and things the some of the living feel that are outside the realm of reality? These activities are real not imaginary – no doubt about that. Who is really behind these supernatural activities? We know there are only two supernatural powers- God and Satan.

What does God have to say about the dead’s activity?

“The dead praise not the Lord” Psalms 115:17

“In death there is no remembrance of thee” Psalms 6:5

“He shall return no more to his house” Job 7:10

Death can not celebrate thee” Isaiah 38:18

“His (dead) thoughts perish” Psalms 146:4

“The dead know not any thing…Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun [in this life]. … For there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave” Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10

There’s no room for guessing, if the dead are inactive then these activities come from the dark side, or as we just said: Satan.

Be careful!

“A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones.” Leviticus 20:27.

God commanded that wizards and others with “familiar spirits” (who claimed to be able to contact the dead) should be dealt with, otherwise they will continue dealing directly in contact with the very “evil side” that the Bible warns us about.
