Speaker 2

Ali Ibn Or Ibn, thank you so much for joining us and asking this question. To my knowledge, it’s 14 years exactly, and I based it on the Book of Genesis. In Genesis 16, verse 16, it says that Abram was four score and six years old. So 86 years old when hagar bear ishmael to abram. And then between that time, God comes to Abraham and says, hey, no, I was planning to give you this, fulfill this promise of a son, that you’d be the father of many nations through your actual wife Sarah. And so when you go forward to Genesis, chapter 21 and verse five, it says Abraham, who is 100 years old when his son Isaac was born into him. So that’s the difference of about 14 years. Just before this time, the year before in Genesis 1725, it talks about how Ishmael was 13 years old at that time when Abraham was 99. So this adds up pretty clearly as far as the years between those two sons of Abraham. I hope that answers your question.
