How does Ellen White’s reference to “Friday” as preparation day work for Lunar Sabbath believers?

Posted on

First, let us read a quote where Ellen White mentions Friday as the preparation day which goes against the false Lunar Sabbath teaching:

“And the people went about, and gathered it [the manna], and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it.” Exodus 16:23; Numbers 11:8. There was something to be done in preparing the heaven-sent bread for the children of Israel. The Lord told them that this work must be done on Friday, the preparation day. This was a test to them. God desired to see whether or not they would keep the Sabbath holy.”  Testimonies, Vol. 6, p. 354

We believe that Ellen White taught the truth, not some of the truth – but all the truth, and that included the Sabbath truth. Now, while it’s true we aren’t given all the truth, but we must agree that our never changing Creator does not give us some truth, and then change it a few years later. We must either accept that Ellen White taught 100% truth, or accept that she did not. We here at ProofDirectory choose to believe that she did teach 100% truth, and that the Creator would not share truth with her a truth, and then completely change it only a few years later.

The true week of Creation that our Creator created in Genesis should not be substituted by man-made calendars that are not found in the Bible. We believe in six literal days of creation, and a Seventh day of rest. Our Creator never instructed anything else, so we must not fall for men who try to say otherwise.

The fact is that Friday does not work with the Lunar Sabbath, because the preparation day for the Lunar Sabbath believers falls on different days of the week.
