Does the Bible mention how fast are angels?

Angels can fly faster than the speed of light. We have a reference to that in Daniel 9:21 where it says ”Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.”

When Daniel started his prayer, God, instantly sent Gabriel who stands at the presence of God to Daniel ( Luke 1:19). How comforting to know that heaven can be made very near to earth. Whenever we need help and ask for it, the Lord commissions His holy angels to come to our aid without delay.

Angels serve God in many capacities (Psalm 103:20; Revelation 22:9). They stand in His presence (Job 1:6; 2:1). They are instruments of God’s judgments (Revelation 7:1; 8:2). They bring answers to prayer (Acts 12:5-10). They help in winning people to the Lord (Acts 8:26; 10:3). They watch Christians (1 Corinthians 4:9; 11:10; Ephesians 3:10; 1 Peter 1:12). They encourage in danger (Acts 27:23-24). They care for the saints at the time of death (Luke 16:22).

Because of these ministries, the Lord equipped angels with unusual speed to deliver and help.
