Do you want to Live Forever? (Blog)

A 31-year-old Russian Dmitry Itskov wants to offer the world the gift of immortality. His plan, called “The 2045 Initiative.” Itskov is proposing that by the year 2045, humans will be able to walk around in holographic avatars for eternity, never fearing death.

Not surprisingly, the Avatar project is extremely costly, and Itskov needs some serious financial support to materialize it. Itskov needs few billion dollars to finish this project. He is asking the world’s wealthiest people to help fund the movement. In return, he’s promised to help each donor on his own immortality quest.

Sounds like a way to get big money. I don’t know? However, few well to do candidates may be desperate enough to fund this project.

I KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE YOU IMMORTALITY. In fact, its FREE. He already paid the price for it. Anyone alive can have this gift “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” John 6:51.

Imagine living forever in a perfect world “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

All you need to do is get to know Jesus well enough and follow Him “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 17:3.

How easy can that be? “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.

Those who take the “yoke” of submission to the Master, who “come” to “learn” in His school, will find the “rest” of soul He has promised. The heavy burden of legal righteousness, of trying to gain salvation by means of merit supposedly earned by one’s own works rather than secured through the merit of Christ, and the still heavier burden of sin itself, will all be rolled away.
