This is a great follow-up question to a previous one, “Will the Rapture take place on September 23, 2017?”
David Mead, author of Planet X – The 2017 Arrival, claimed that on Sept. 23/17 “Planet Nibiru” would collide with the Earth. But since this prediction did not come true, he has recently given the Washington Post some new dates and a warning:
“The world is not ending, but the world as we know it is ending.” He continues to say, “A major part of the world will not be the same the beginning of October.” His message in the Washington Post report said that this alleged event won’t mark the apocalypse, but rather a series of catastrophic events over the course of weeks.
Mead also stated that on October 5 Planet X will fully eclipse the sun and cover the earth in a shadow. He believes this will signal the start of the “seven-year-tribulation” and that this tribulation will involve “nuclear exchanges between the US, Britain and our enemies – Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.” He also stated that huge solar flares would “bring down the electrical grid,” and “Rioting and looting will be unrestrained…. society will be in chaos.” He goes on to say that the asteroid Wormwood, which is at least three kilometers in diameters, and is attached to the “debris field of the Planet X star system,” will collide with earth during the seven years of tribulation.
Towards the end of October, specifically October 21, he says that a series of catastrophic events including hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and nuclear attacks will take place and that these cataclysmic events will be the “trumpet judgement” of Revelation.
Interestingly, NASA has firmly and repeatedly dismissed the theories about Nibiru as an “internet hoax.” Christian leaders have also disputed these claims. Christianity Today called Meade, “a made-up leader in a made-up field.”
So, what should Bible believers be looking for in the very near future? The Bible does say that there will be wars and rumors of wars and earthquakes and pestilences and that these will all happen right before the second coming of Christ (Matthew 24). But why will these things happen? What is the purpose or reason for them?
Revelation predicts that soon every person on earth will side with either Satan or God. This book points out that God has a mark that identifies His people. The devil also has a mark for those who support him and he will work through an earthly power to impose his mark. We can avoid Satan’s mark if we know what it is, and the Bible has revealed it as a warning to us. For more information, check out the following links:
