Crush The Enemy By Faith

Part 1

Christianity is based on faith. Without it there is not much left because everything in Christianity that matters operate with it.

Christianity is based on faith. Without it there is not much left because everything in Christianity that matters operate with it.

If you desire grace, you need it.
If you want to know God’s love and live in God’s love, again you need faith.
Salvation? Yes, faith is the passport.
Righteousness? Faith, for sure …

The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6 that

“without faith it is impossible to please God.”

In Galatians 5:6

“The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself in love.”

Then again in Ephesians 2:8

“you are saved by grace through faith.”

It definitely appears that a lot rests on this idea of faith. Indeed, if faith is absent, then the gospel is rendered powerless in a human life. Faith can be considered a soul fuel upon which the gospel spark kindles and sets aflame.

When you undermine faith, you undermine Christianity, without it, it’s like you mess with the word of God. The only intelligence of the enemy is to bring doubt in your faith on God. But that intelligence and IQ doesn’t make a godly person. The enemy had 6000 years to get to know human beings. He knows us well by now. He used the same technique with Eve in the Garden of Eden. He doesn’t need to re-invent anything. This is an issue of faith! God already gave the evidence by offering us the access to the Bible, but we become lazy enough to apply what He taught us.

A lot of us have faith, but it is misapplied. It is not applied in the person of God and Jesus-Christ. We look too much on our own confidence.

The powerful faith is a road toward Christ.

We should give compassion to someone who doubt about the promises of God by giving him/her solid evidence that he/she is being mislead, the enemy is playing with him/her.

The God who cannot lie, promised you more rewards that you can imagine. It is time to turn away your eyes from your junk and direct them to Christ.

Truth wins! God wins! Instead of being the victim of doubt, you can be the victor of Christ!

Let’s say we are in a courtroom and you are the judge to your future, the enemy tries to mislead your thought and he wins because of the way you live, the way you occupy yourself and involuntarily you are impregnated with false judgmental principles.

Six maneuvers that Satan uses against us:
  1. Pollution: Visual temptation will make you feel ashamed. Woman and man know what I’m talking about.
  2. Tiredness: too much preoccupation. You run after money. You end up putting your work before God.
  3. Distractions: Imagine that you are on a date with your wife and you tell her that you love her while looking at the TV on the side.
  4. Anxiety/Fear: You have the King of the Kings on your side and you permit yourself to fear because you did not listen to Him.
  5. Anger/Frustration: You wanted something very dearly, but you did not get it, and you end up being frustrated from God that He did not give you what you wanted, knowing that you were honestly praying. Come on, do you know what is His big plan for you? Where is your trust?
  6. Doubt: ah the only weapon on Satan’s hands

To live as Christians, we have to know how our enemy works and how God works.

On a daily basis Satan invites us to take a bite from the tempting fruit of doubt. Guess what? We take the bite! Satan invites us by saying that by taking this bite, things will be different. Sure, things will be different; we would have taken a step back from God.

God says that whatever you ask in His name, it will be given to you. But often, nothing happens. What a great opportunity for Satan to come with one of his maneuvers to mislead us.
Does God exist?
Where is He?

That is just idiocy!!!

God = The Truth = Fact = Real

1- The word of God1- Feelings/Emotions
2- The promises2- The appeal of anxiety
3- The unseen reality3- The appeal of lethargy
4- The nature of God4- The appeal of grievance

By ruling on your feelings, the enemy tells you to give up on God. He uses your feelings as an instrument against you. He invites us to “sleep”, to be passive and being Christians by name. Do not be dupe by the enemy.

Do not follow the word of anyone if it doesn’t match 100% the word of God. Where you set your soul eye sight, define where your faith eye sight is directed. If they are directed toward what God is speaking, you have life and life abundant.

Look at the word Diakrino (Greek), it can be briefly define as doubt. But it is more than that. It means to side against, to ally with one over and against another, to forsake a previous allegiance, to waver in support of one candidate and vote in support of another.

Even by being unbelievers, we believe in something, we believe in lie and the enemy over God. It is taking side with Satan against God. We say that Christians are believers, but also none Christians believe in something.

“Give, and it will be given to you.” Luke 6:38

Part 2

Weighing the evidence of the deceiver

“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of the fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:6

Diakrino: He/She sided against God. It is a matter of soul’s allegiance

Evidence of God, our Redeemer

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” 1 John 3:1

Look at the word “BEHOLD”. God is calling us to inspect, examine, discern and He invites us to keep our eye sight on the cross.

No diakrino means do not examine the deceiver’s evidence.

Your eyes should be fixed on the word of God.

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23

“Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house.” Acts 11:12

“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”  Roman 4:20-21

Diakrino is a fierce allegiance to self’s unlawful position in the human soul. It is the lawyerly representation of the soul to prove why self can and must maintain its jurisdiction and authority and why surrender onto Christ is unnecessary and unwise at this juncture.

The reason why sin has power over your life, it is because you gave credit to diakrino. That is why you are ultra-vulnerable. Your sight becomes blurry. Satan’s temptation makes sense because you have eradicated the entire Bible that you have scrabbled.

It is the badgering of the witness of Holy Scripture, badgering of the witness of the Holy Spirit and the calling up of freshly and natural witness in an attempt to continuously disprove and nullify the testimony of Heaven.

We sometimes look at other people to justify our decision. “Hey look at Patrick, he prayed and went to Church, but died from cancer.”

Let’s admit that when we are in doubt, we sin! Do not even say to God that it was a moment of doubt. “Oh Father, forget it.” No! Eve was taken out from the Garden of Eden because of her doubt in God.

Doubt should never be cherished, nor fear harbored. Let none cherish the delusion that he/she is a martyr to fear and doubt. It is no credit to any man’s mental capacity to cherish doubt of God. And no comfort can possibly derive from such thought.

Our eyes should be taken off self. Removed from our own weakness and allowed to rest implicitly upon God’s strength. A simple confiding faith, living day by day and casting its burden on the Lord each hour of the day will dissipate fear, drive away misgiving and deliver from doubt.

“I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:9

If Jesus-Christ comes now, where will He find the eyes of your soul centered? Are you focused on your weakness?

Faith is the deliberate choice of the soul to say “I turn away from the temptation”; “I’ll not be buried by it.” “It might be so hard, but I am able through God.”

It’s you victory and confidence that God is taking care of everything. Just look at the word of God and stay focused on Him.

Faith is the spiritual discerning of God’s way and then the bold movement forward in it. Faith is complete and utter confidence in the ability of God to perform that which He has promised to perform. It does not waver or hesitate, cower or retreat even in the face of the most gross and insurmountable natural obstacles.

Faith is wholly given to the opinion of God and trusts it explicitly. Faith is fiercely loyal to the word of God, and even at the risk of public ridicule, it is willing to put all its chips on God and live.

“Give, and it will be given to you.” Luke 6:38

Part 3

How does doubt function?

It exalts the notion of self-council. Doubt is the voice of natural man. It favors the kingdom of self, the control of self, and is antagonistic toward the incoming regime of the spirit of God. If the voice of doubt is not silenced, then the Christian man integrates this voice into the voice of the spirit of God and begins to assume that this voice is the Spirit of God. And even though this voice contradicts every sentiment, command, and promises of Scripture, it is deemed the “wise” voice and it is viewed as astute and conscientious Christianity to follow it.

If this voice of doubt is not silenced then the Christian life is built on the false premise of self-council rather than Spirit-Scriptura council thus generating a life that lives from flesh as its source rather than from the spirit in faith and love. And such a life is a sin unto God, it cannot please God, and is damnable in the eyes of Heaven.

If you focus on the facts rather than experience you will integrate and examine safely the word and evidence of God.
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”  Roman 4:20-21

By grabbing His evidence and knowing that He cannot lie, He cannot change, He can do everything He says, it is not a wishful thinking, but our comforter’s will to save us.

However, the moment you turn away from doubt, from Satan, and you truly rely on God, you need to be tested. It is mentioned in the scripture as the faith test. Because, do you mean your choice? God cannot stand a wafer. That’s why you should keep focused and keep walking toward God.

Faiths knows that the natural man, the natural world, and all the natural laws defy the living God and His ruler ship and therefore seeks not the council, the endorsement, the validation of these icons of culture to back the idea of belief. And in fact fully expects them to attempt to refute it.

Be sure that by relying on God, Satan will use what is around you to contradict your belief. That’s how it works, I’m just preparing you. Expect the world around you to test what you stand for.

Noah was tested by a cloudless sky for more than 120 years. That’s quite a long time. 120 years building an arc without seeing any sign that it’ll rain.

Abraham was tested by both the sheer impossibility of the promise and the interminable passage of time. Indeed, his wife was getting older and older and years kept on passing.

Jacob was tested by the long dark night.

Caleb was tested by 31 hostile giant empires.

David was tested by the lion, the bear and the 12 ½ foot tall man beast.

Mary and Martha were tested by Lazarus’ four days in the tomb. Jesus-Christ certified them that the sickness will not end up in death.

Even if Jesus-Christ looks out of town like with Lazarus, stay trustful that He is keeping His promise. Don’t listen to the surrounding, stay fixed, look at Jesus-Christ. He doesn’t change and He keeps His promises.

The disciples were tested by the boat filling up with water. What, is Jesus-Christ sleeping? Panic in the air? Jesus rebuked them not to have faith!!

Peter was tested by the natural laws of water and man walking upon it. The entire natural world says that nobody can walk on water. The boat wavered because of the disciples doubt. Jesus asked them to keep their eyes on Him. To have faith in Him!John was tested by the sight of the Messiah suffering, dying and being buried. The Messiah, who came to deliver them, got crucified. The apostle was seeing Jesus suffering, dying and being buried. Where is the confidence here? It is just at this point that should be declared that “My God is victorious; He cannot be defeated, when my God promises, He cannot lie and He keeps on fulfilling His promises.” That’s the faith that is the ultimate wisdom.

“That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus-Christ.”  1Peter 1:7

“Give, and it will be given to you.”Luke 6:38

Part 4

What is Faith?

It is tangible, credible, substantial evidence witnessed (seen) by the eyes of the human soul and thusly lent the entirety of the soul’s agreement, loyalty and support. God gave us the supernatural evidence of His Kingdom, because without it, we wouldn’t know anything about Him. Thus, watch what God will do for you.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1

“For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” Hebrews 6:13-15

We all want to obtain what is in the scripture. But to get them, we have to understand the anatomy of faith, by accepting it and practicing it, we have to know that we’ll be tested.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”  Hebrews 10:23

“Now that just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”  Hebrews 10:38

Don’t waver; stay focused on Jesus-Christ.

The 6 basic principles of faith
  1. The laws of Heaven trump the laws of this earth and world. The laws of nature are subservient to the laws of the Spirit of God.
  2. Spiritual assurance is gained only through spiritual means (i.e. Prayer, obedience, patient endurance, and purity of soul).
  3. Faith is based on Fact (Truth) and NOT on wishful or positive thinking. It’s a very real glimpse into the plans, purposes, and power of the Almighty and being convinced of both His desire and His ability to carry those plans and purposes out.
  4. For faith to grow it must be fully invested.
  5. Faith, if it is real, is always tested to prove its authenticity.
  6. Faith, if it is real, remains steadfast and unshaken even when the natural realm lays out its arguments and presents its case of the utter impossibility of the task.

Only God is above the laws of Heaven, He defies any natural law. If you do not trust God in small things, it means that you don’t trust Him while Satan tries to bring you down.

What does Apistia mean?

Unbelief, absence of faith, withholding agreement with God

If we look at Roman 4:20-21 – “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He has promised He was also able to perform.”

We clearly see that Abraham was fixed and focused on God, he was not waving!

What does apeitheo mean?

To not allow one’s self to be persuaded, to refuse or to withhold belief, to refuse belief and obedience, to not comply.

That is very dangerous, and we actually have the duty to avoid it.

If we look at John 3:36 – “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

What does apistos mean?

If you live without your faith and trust in God, your life will be insignificant.

If we take a look on Titus 1:15 – “To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.”

On a daily basis, we are wavering because of the doubt, because of diakrino. Anxiety and fear keep holding us if we don’t surrender to god. Come on, pull yourself together and let’s live as Christians.

Do not listen to the enemy!

The anatomy of true discipleship

You are always on God’s side. It is not fun to purge negative thoughts out of your life and junk out. It is more about Jesus and less of you. We are talking idealistically. However, according to the word God, it is doable. But we are in a battle. The battle does not stop at any moment. You should not allow your negative thoughts to come into your mind. But if it happens, run toward God.

What is Godly diakrino?

To shield against the lying voice, to ally with the word of God over and against the whisperer, to forsake a previous allegiance to doubt, to change your support from deceitful candidate and vote in support of the King of Kings. You should cut off the whisperer of the enemy and his alliances. You should not budge; keep your eyes fixed on the Redeemer.

The return of the brave hearted faith

Faith that does not just tune out the bait of the deceiver, but faith that boldly trusts once again to what God can do in our generation. That same God who lived in Peter, John and Paul, that same God lives in us.

Let’s boldly stand-up with brave hearted certitude toward our God

Toward God and only God

Faith of the size of a mustard seeds can tell a mountain to move to the sea.

Give, and it will be given to you. Luke 6:38
