Crush The Enemy By Faith – Part 2

Weighing the evidence of the deceiver

“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of the fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.” Genesis 3:6

Diakrino: He/She sided against God. It is a matter of soul’s allegiance

Evidence of God, our Redeemer

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.” 1 John 3:1

Look at the word “BEHOLD”. God is calling us to inspect, examine, discern and He invites us to keep our eye sight on the cross.

No diakrino means do not examine the deceiver’s evidence.

Your eyes should be fixed on the word of God.

“For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” Mark 11:23

“Then the Spirit told me to go with them, doubting nothing. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered the man’s house.” Acts 11:12

“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully persuaded that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”  Roman 4:20-21

Diakrino is a fierce allegiance to self’s unlawful position in the human soul. It is the lawyerly representation of the soul to prove why self can and must maintain its jurisdiction and authority and why surrender onto Christ is unnecessary and unwise at this juncture.

The reason why sin has power over your life, it is because you gave credit to diakrino. That is why you are ultra-vulnerable. Your sight becomes blurry. Satan’s temptation makes sense because you have eradicated the entire Bible that you have scrabbled.

It is the badgering of the witness of Holy Scripture, badgering of the witness of the Holy Spirit and the calling up of freshly and natural witness in an attempt to continuously disprove and nullify the testimony of Heaven.

We sometimes look at other people to justify our decision. “Hey look at Patrick, he prayed and went to Church, but died from cancer.”

Let’s admit that when we are in doubt, we sin! Do not even say to God that it was a moment of doubt. “Oh Father, forget it.” No! Eve was taken out from the Garden of Eden because of her doubt in God.

Doubt should never be cherished, nor fear harbored. Let none cherish the delusion that he/she is a martyr to fear and doubt. It is no credit to any man’s mental capacity to cherish doubt of God. And no comfort can possibly derive from such thought.

Our eyes should be taken off self. Removed from our own weakness and allowed to rest implicitly upon God’s strength. A simple confiding faith, living day by day and casting its burden on the Lord each hour of the day will dissipate fear, drive away misgiving and deliver from doubt.

“I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”  Luke 18:9

If Jesus-Christ comes now, where will He find the eyes of your soul centered? Are you focused on your weakness?

Faith is the deliberate choice of the soul to say “I turn away from the temptation”; “I’ll not be buried by it.” “It might be so hard, but I am able through God.”

It’s you victory and confidence that God is taking care of everything. Just look at the word of God and stay focused on Him.

Faith is the spiritual discerning of God’s way and then the bold movement forward in it. Faith is complete and utter confidence in the ability of God to perform that which He has promised to perform. It does not waver or hesitate, cower or retreat even in the face of the most gross and insurmountable natural obstacles.

Faith is wholly given to the opinion of God and trusts it explicitly. Faith is fiercely loyal to the word of God, and even at the risk of public ridicule, it is willing to put all its chips on God and live.

Give, and it will be given to you. Luke 6:38
