World Kingdoms and Bible Prophecies

The major world kingdoms and governments that specifically dealt with God’s people through history were predicted in Bible prophecy. The Lord came in a dream to Nebuchadnezzar the great Babylonian king, giving him an amazing vision into the future (Daniel 2).

Nebuchadnezzar witnessed that his mighty golden kingdom of Babylon would fall, only to be followed by three successive empires doomed to failure. The last would disintegrate into many separate nations. Daniel foretold that these smaller, separate nations would vainly attempt to reunite through intermarriage, military conquests, and treaties. But they would never succeed.

And that’s exactly what happened. Babylon, the head of gold, fell as predicted. And it was followed, exactly as foretold, by the kingdoms of Medo-Persia (silver), Greece (brass), and Rome (iron). After the fall of the Roman Empire, the region was divided into many nations (clay mixed with iron), whose borders and governments are still in a state of instability today.

In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, a heavenly stone struck the image on its feet. Then, suddenly, the image violently disintegrated to dust. The entire human system of government and religion on earth was brought to a an end.

The list of men attempting to form a one-world government goes as follows: Charlemagne, Napoleon, Kaiser Wilhelm, Stalin, Hitler, and Mao. All of these powerful men watched as their grand schemes for government control failed.

And even the League of Nations, United Nations, and European Economic Community have all done their part in trying to establish their own modified versions of the new world order. But we see how even these peacetime organizations failed in  uniting the world.

Today, most globalist schemes are wrapped up nicely in agreements. By empowering multi-national corporations, as they have done with the central banking cartels, the global Elite are trying to ensure that their one world government comes to fruition. But according to Bible prophecy, they will not succeed in achieving a lasting and prosperous NWO.

Revelation 13 and 17, tells us that the Papacy who is the beast (Antichrist) that had a deadly wound, will come back after the wound is healed. It will head the nations in the final attempt to form a NWO, and will persecute the saints.

The world governments and the papacy will rule only for a very short period (Revelation 17:2) but their rule will soon be interrupted by Christ’s second coming.
