The innocence in a child’s face attracts all of us. Their sweet and shy faces always glitter with a heavenly charm, which has an overwhelming appeal, even to the eyes of a cold hearted person.
Though, it changes as they grow older, God had decided to bestow them with an impeccable nature. Bible has even equated Holiness to the innocence of a child.
“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, 3 and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.”
Mathew 18: 2-5
“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.”
“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. 15 Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Mark 10: 14,15
But, there are also warnings for all of us; for the youths, parents and the elderly:
“Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.”
1 Corinthians 14:20
“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.”
Dear parents, God has said it very carefully that you don’t offend your children, lest they become a threat to all of us… It is also written;
“Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.”
